Commercial:

Commercial projects have always been the domain of steel. For one, the economy of scale is there to support paying for a higher quality of materials. But more often than not, the major reasons are that steel simply offers more return on the investment and has a longer list of attributes and benefits over wood or concrete. Taller buildings, bigger spans, extra safety, less redundancy and more trade compatibility . All attributes of steel framing.

Residential:

What works for commercial structures also works for residential (if not more so because all people deserve the same attributes and benefits). People like the comfort of a home that is; healthier, better quality, offers more safety and in general terms is just a better investment. Earthquakes, fires, mold, noise, energy costs, reduced costs of ownership and a higher recycled content are all considerations that Steel offers solutions for .

"It is not that 'the whole is more than the some of it's parts,' It is that the properties of the parts cannot be understood except in their context in the whole."

It took us a quite a few years to embrace this mindset but the good part is we do. The funny part is we're not sure if it is testimony to time on the planet or being in the business long enough to have made every conceivable mistake.

In all seriousness, we've designed and built a variety of building types in the years we've been doing this. From simple backyard sheds to complicated temperature control enclosures for testing hydraulics on a missile launching system. Each structure was important to us because it was important to our clients. That they were all made of steel framing was a shared vision.
